John Kerry’s Tasergate – What’s The Big Deal? September 18, 2007Posted by fitsnews in US Politics.
AND WHY NO CATTLE-PROD?
FITSNews – September 18, 2007 – By now the whole country has seen the hilarious video of crazy college student Andrew Meyer getting tasered and arrested earlier today after acting the fool at a John Kerry Q&A session on the University of Florida campus. Predictibly, a bunch of wannabe activists are up in arms, bitching and moaning about the incident, protesting “police brutality” and claiming this moron’s First Amendment right to free speech was violated. From the AP:
About 100 students gathered on campus Tuesday to plan protests, some wearing T-shirts denouncing police violence. Benjamin Dictor, a liberal arts junior speaking for the group, called for the officers to be disciplined, Tasers to be banned on campus and the charges dropped. “For a question to be met with arrest, not to mention physical violence, is completely unacceptable in the United States, especially in the halls of education,” Dictor said.
Whatever, cake boy. Go lift out or something. You can watch another version of the video for yourself if you’d like, but we’re totally with the cops on this one. Which is pretty amazing because cops hate us. Why? Well, we actually wrote the lyrics to N.W.A.’s controversial hit “F*ck Tha Police,” believe it or not (editor’s note: not). Anyway, this dude is completely unhinged, people, and a taser is nothing compared to the cattleprod up the ass he should’ve gotten. Whatever Meyer’s parents are dosing him with, somebody needs to up the medication.
We’re all for free speech (hell, it pays our bills), but free speech doesn’t mean you get to foam at the mouth and lunge at people you disagree with. Literally, anyway. Whether they’re famous almost-Presidents or skanky dope fiends is irrelevent. There’s a line of crazy you just don’t cross and this kid cleared it by a country mile. In case anybody’s forgotten, there are some seriously disturbed f*cking kids out there.
