NEW ENGLAND QUARTERBACK’S GRIEF THERAPY NOT MUCH DIFFERENT THAN SIC WILLIE’S AFTER INDY’S PREVIOUS PLAYOFF LOSSES

FITSNews – January 26, 2007 – When Tom Brady‘s New England Patriots humiliated the Indianapolis Colts 24-14 in the 2004 AFC Championship game, Sic Willie assumed the position of an epileptic ball on the floor at Durkin’s Bar in downtown Columbia – twitching, sobbing and screaming until he was carried from the establishment by its bouncers.

When a second consecutive trip to Foxboro ended in a 20-3 Colts’ defeat in the 2005 AFC Divisional Championships, he went fetal again, this time bawling like a little girl on the floor at his parents house.

Last year, when the Pittsburgh Steelers bounced his beloved horsies from the playoffs in the 2006 AFC Divisional Championships by a 21-18 score, Sic Willie momentarily interrupted his month-long evasion of Richland County authorities by screaming and convulsing on the balcony of a girl whose name may or may not have been Rebecca De Mornay.

Okay, unfortunately for Sic Willie her last name was not DeMorney. But her first name was Rebecca. And she did quiet Sic Willie down. And get his thumb back in his mouth. And get his white hoodie back on so no one would notice him.

Anyway, how does Tom Brady respond to a tough loss like the one the Patriots suffered at the hands of the Colts on Sunday?

Apparently in much the same way, if “in much the same way” means not crying and getting photographed by the paparazzi shortly after scoring with supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
